Continually improving our environmental sustainability is one of the Group’s five key objectives.
Over the last year we have been developing a management system based approach to environmental sustainability and will be being audited to the ISO 14001 standard very shortly.
We measured our environmental footprints for the first time during 2009, which were presented in our first environmental sustainability review, Foundations for our Future. We were delighted to win four awards for our first steps on this important journey.
We have set several targets for improvement and progress against these will be monitored year on year.
