Residents’ Academy launched

Aster Group has launched a new Residents’ Academy a training resources that is provided through the operating companies.

Residents can learn how to use a computer, write a newsletter, get help with maths and English and much more.

Depending on what skills people already have, two levels are offered – foundation and advanced. Courses are run at different times and days of the week and help with travel and family care costs is available.

If new to learning, the foundation level is a good place to start. The advanced level is more for anyone who might like to get involved in the more serious things like giving presentations or even becoming a board member.

Each Aster company is also encouraging residents to become trainers in their own right, to help others learn.
